My favorite person in his favorite city. Posted by Picasa

We were treated to 5th row seats ... right in front of where the pitchers warm up! Of course, my son was jealous. I brought home a ton of photos for him! Posted by Picasa

A photoshoot at an arboretum? You can imagine the extra fun I had with that! Stories abound, to be sure, especially with the rain and attempting to get an outdoor shot by a little waterfall ... but no time now! Posted by Picasa

I tried a new lens for macro today. It took a little getting used to, but I ended up liking it and snapped away at hundreds of flowers. Posted by Picasa

The most awesome shot I've witnessed! His best friend whirled around the corner aiming at the mirror ... and WHAM! We all laughed until our sides hurt. Posted by Picasa

6 Years ... These two have been close friends for SIX YEARS! It's hard to believe we've been in Augusta that long. And the reality of leaving is starting to set in with my oldest boy. His best friend leaves in 2 weeks to be with grandparents for the summer ... so this is our last chance to spend time with him before we move! Posted by Picasa

Sometimes it just takes a moment to look up and you realize something beautiful is waiting quietly with a gift. And while it is visible to all, it feels like an intimate gift from heaven just for me. It's a moment that captures my attention, takes my breath away, and makes me realize that no matter what is going on around me, something much bigger and more spectacular is silently awaiting discovery. And for that moment, I stop and I see and I breathe and I smile for I feel like God has reminded me to look up. Posted by Picasa

This is me ... a LONG time ago! This was one of my mom's favorite photos of me ... so you can see why I grabbed my camera as my own child appeared by the front door with an umbrella! Posted by Picasa

It was the last performance of the year ... and in Georgia! I'm really proud of my young musician, he seems to have plenty of talent! I heard these songs "hummed" for weeks and weeks and weeks ... so it was wonderful to hear the real deal! Posted by Picasa

An excitable little friend was also at the concert ... little did we realize that their older siblings were also in the same class! Posted by Picasa

How slow do you want the fire to burn?

Just a little over a year ago, I had an urge to set up my special writing place. One person I wanted to tell was my aunt because I had bee...
