October 31st

We don't make much of a big deal over the "Halloween" holiday ... preferring to take part in "harvest festivals" and such. But our little unicorn still was able to dress up, make a new (and very sparkly) princess friend, and get a bag full of candy! Posted by Picasa

Church Picnic

More picnic fun! Remember the whole kid idea that the box is more fun than the present? Well, a huge cardboard maze has now been flattened by the most popular "toy" on the property ... A GIANT PINK TUBE! Posted by Picasa

Church Picnic

Of course, every little girl could spend the afternoon jumping and flipping in something fun like this! The adults tried it later and it was pretty hilarious ... they could barely last 5 minutes! Posted by Picasa

Oh the excitement (or amusement, depending on your perspective) of jewelry! My daughter is more of fashion queen that I ever was. But she's just as adventuresome! Posted by Picasa

My little one turns six tomorrow. Some early gifts held treasures like makeup and earrings ... how did she get to be such a high fashion little lady? It seems like the years have flown by, making it hard to believe we have been living in the same town this long!! I have moved many, many times and became pregnant shortly after moving here. This is the only place my little one has known as home. Amazing how quickly it can go by!! Posted by Picasa

A wonderful impression of a puff bird ... probably pink lips and all! Posted by Picasa

Even her big brother loves some of the gifts for his little sister. I'm pretty confident he will leave the purple lipstick and fingernail polish alone. He did have to help figure out how to make the Fairytopia Barbie fly, but I doubt he will admit that! Posted by Picasa

Guess who had a birthday party tonight? Posted by Picasa

Her hearty lungs came in handy for this! Posted by Picasa

I just returned from another weekend in a new city ... Philadelphia! This time for a trade show. Posted by Picasa

The nearby market even had an assortment of flowers for me to get my photo fix ... Posted by Picasa

... but it made my friend's head hurt! Posted by Picasa

An evening meeting took place at a mystery dinner theater ... quite amusing! From servers who acted to audience participation, it was quite memorable. Posted by Picasa

How slow do you want the fire to burn?

Just a little over a year ago, I had an urge to set up my special writing place. One person I wanted to tell was my aunt because I had bee...
