Life unfolds ... some of it here. This blog began as a way to focus on the good things in the midst of a crisis and be a connection to friends and family when it seemed to take all of my time just to weather the storms. It seems to have transformed into a sanctuary of musing and inspiration. Feel free to join me!

A Morning of Photos with Doug Henderson
The big highlight of my day? It would have to be a front row seat at Doug Henderson's Digital Photography class (sponsored by Reasor's). I really enjoyed what I heard. He validated so much of what I instinctively do! That's not to toot my own horn, but it certainly supports why what I do seems to work - not to mention the positive opinions of those who like my images! Knowing that I would like to teach some basic photo how-to's to Girl Scouts (both girls and leaders), I always have a view toward learning things in a way that I can translate that knowledge to others as well. So the best part was being able to see examples, hear a teacher teach, and to ask some of my own questions!
