Life unfolds ... some of it here. This blog began as a way to focus on the good things in the midst of a crisis and be a connection to friends and family when it seemed to take all of my time just to weather the storms. It seems to have transformed into a sanctuary of musing and inspiration. Feel free to join me!

Modeling in High Society
As my little model passed by this table, Ginny Creveling saw her 1957 Brownie Girl Scout uniform and exclaimed, "That's my FAVORITE uniform!" During this Juliette Low Leadership Society Luncheon, there were so many women who do so many wonderful things at our event. But Ginny Creveling is one who stands out in my mind because I saw her on the cover of Tulsa People magazine ... Woman of the Year (I think)? Naturally, I couldn't resist asking for a photo.

Hello!
I remember my Brownie uniform and how proud I felt to be wearing it. I still have my beanie, but the uniform was passed on to a younger friend.
Hope you all have a wonderful summer! We are gearing up for a busy and fantastic summer at the library. Everyone is excited about the bison bonus prize. Plus the teen program is better than ever! Maybe I will see you one day at my branch. :-)

I've heard a bit about the reading program at the library this summer ... and my kids will definitely be spending some time there! When we moved here last July, that was one of the first things we did, and my daughter LOVED it! At which branch do you work???
